Intro.community, a professional networking platform preparing for its wider launch, has announced significant additions to its board. iGaming industry veterans David Flynn and Britt Boeskov have joined the company, taking on the roles of Chairman and board member, respectively. These appointments are designed to bolster the platform's strategic direction as it prepares for an invite-only rollout in the autumn. The company has stated its focus is on connecting professionals within the online gambling industry and the Nordic investment community. The move leverages the extensive experience and networks of both Flynn and Boeskov to build momentum for the new venture.
Flynn to Chair Board
David Flynn steps into the role of Chairman, bringing a wealth of senior leadership experience from some of the gaming industry's most prominent B2B and B2C companies. His career includes holding C-level and board positions across a diverse portfolio of organisations. He has been involved with the LCKY Group, the pioneering software supplier Microgaming, and the major platform and content provider NYX Gaming Group. His executive background also extends to his time at Solance. This extensive history across different facets of the gambling sector provides Intro.community with high-level strategic guidance as it aims to establish itself as a key networking hub for industry executives and investors.
Boeskov Brings Governance Expertise
Joining Flynn on the board is Britt Boeskov, whose career is marked by a long and successful tenure at the pan-European operator Kindred Group, which now operates as part of FDJ United. In her former role as Chief Experience Officer, she was instrumental in shaping the customer-facing aspects of one of the industry's largest businesses. Boeskov's current activities are heavily focused on corporate governance, as she holds a number of non-executive board positions at various industry-related companies. Her current directorships include roles at the sports media and affiliate giant Better Collective, the responsible gambling technology firm Mindway.ai, the Belgian B2B provider GAMING1, and the mobile games developer MAG Interactive. This portfolio demonstrates a deep engagement with key industry verticals, from marketing and compliance to game development.
Established Founding Team
The new appointees will work alongside the platform's founders, Chief Executive Officer Øyvind Kvamme-Vik and Co-Founder Bjørn Furnes Fjellby. The founding team already possesses significant entrepreneurial and capital markets experience within the sector. Fjellby is notably the founder of Scout Gaming Group, a fantasy sports and pool betting provider. He successfully led that company from its inception to a public listing on the Nasdaq First North stock exchange within a four-year period, an achievement that underscores his experience in scaling a technology business and navigating the investment landscape that Intro.community aims to serve. This combination of established founders and new, high-profile board members creates a leadership team with deep roots in both the operational and financial sides of the iGaming world.
